From the artist: The empty, mostly abandoned places hold memories that can only be imagined now. The stories of those who once lived, worked and played in these spaces are faded and long-forgotten. Likewise, the photographs of the people who now inhabit these spaces were also forsaken and discarded -- images once held dear by loved ones, only to be relegated to junk stores and flea markets, their stories also slowly erased by time and distance. But the stories remain; one simply needs to learn anew how to look for them.
